A dream worthy to be turned into a beautiful reality.

“A DREAM”….. A dream is where all this began. Yes, when we started we just had one thing with us “A DREAM”. A dream, a desire to tread new avenues, to do something never done before, awe-inspiring, heart thumping, amazing, adventurous and out of the world. This dream, after giving us many a sleepless night transformed into our passion which after humungous effort took the shape of a beautiful reality. This surreal reality was named “PRÈVOYANCE”. And just like every big reality, “PRÈVOYANCE” did not happen in one day or by luck and chance. Everyone spent hours discussing, planning, organising, brain storming and sometimes brain washing, and after many meetings and discussions a final draft for the event was forged which would promise every engineer two unforgettable days of his life. What followed was the immense task of publicity, sponsorship, going through every small detail again and again and last minute discussions. Be it joy, frustration, apprehension, nervousness, the team of “PRÈVOYANCE” experienced it all.
And finally, as a result or immense dedication, teamwork and continued efforts of the faculties and students alike “PRÈVOYANCE” was ready with all its sheen and shine. Then came the “D” day for us, 1st April 2005, when, from the very start of the day to the end of the next day, every moment an excitement, a vigour never seen before filled the whole atmosphere. This fest made many a record bite the dust when it saw the participation of over 500 enthusiastic students from around the country. History repeated itself and even bettered its original score on 9th March 2006 when “PRÈVOYANCE ‘06” registered over 800 competitors. “PRÈVOYANCE ‘07” was not of the types to lag behind. Taking cue from its predecessor, it witnessed an even better, overwhelming and a completely unpredictable response as myriads of entries poured in from throughout the country. “PRÈVOYANCE 07” set up new standards in techfest history. And the story obviously does not end here itself. “PRÈVOYANCE ‘08” and PRÈVOYANCE ‘09 continued the legacy of its ancestors and not only did it give the record-holders a run for their money but also re-established previously set ground rules by a host of events.
Well, History as we all know has this frequent knack of repeating itself time and again, unfolding past charismas’ for the present to behold and take inspiration from. To allow history one more chance to repeat itself and its past glories, we carry forward our vision, our foresight, and present to you “PRÈVOYANCE ’10”…..
